PRASAD KAKARLA, PE
President & Technical Director

Prasad Kakarla brings over 30 years of expertise in the design, implementation, and management of in-situ remediation technologies. He specializes in chemical oxidation, chemical reduction, bioremediation, metals treatment, and surfactant-enhanced remediation. He is a recognized technical leader in chemical oxidation, with expertise utilizing various oxidants, including modified Fenton’s reagent (MFR), activated persulfate, and permanganate.

In his role at ISOTEC, Prasad oversees all aspects of project design, field implementation, project management, regulatory reporting, and field oversight. With a portfolio of over 300 successfully managed projects, he is the primary point of contact for technical and field implementation issues. He also leads laboratory research initiatives focused on optimizing treatment efficiencies for soil and groundwater contamination and conducts literature reviews to stay at the cutting edge of oxidative research. As a liaison between ISOTEC and academic institutions, he fosters collaboration to further enhance treatment methodologies.

Prasad’s contributions extend beyond practical applications. He has taught remediation courses, hosted workshops, published in peer-reviewed journals, and chaired sessions at numerous industry conferences. Before joining ISOTEC, he served as a research and teaching assistant at Washington State University, where he completed his thesis on the chemical oxidation of sorbed hydrophobic contaminants in surface soils using in-situ Fenton-like processes.

Prasad holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Washington State University and a Bachelor of Technology (Honors) in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur.

WILL CALDICOTT
Director of Remediation Technologies

Will plays a key role in the management of ISOTEC. He received his master’s degree from the Yale School of the Environment, focusing on the fixation of inorganic constituents, and has developed a passion for remediating complex contaminated sites. He is responsible for driving business opportunities, evaluating sites, and assessing remedial options. Will also plays a pivotal role in identifying and evaluating new synergistic products and services to expand the company’s toolbox.

Under Will’s leadership, ISOTEC has significantly strengthened our remediation technology offerings, incorporating cutting-edge solutions such as metal treatment technologies, Trap & Treat® injectable activated carbon, enhanced in-situ dechlorination, bioremediation, surfactant-enhanced remediation, a novel 1,4-dioxane aerobic bioremediation treatment, and various reagent delivery approaches, including soil blending. Will is constantly exploring new industry innovations to enhance and expand ISOTEC’s technology portfolio, ensuring the company stays at the forefront of remediation solutions.

PAUL DOMBROWSKI, PE
Director & Senior Remediation Engineer

Paul Dombrowski has over 20 years of experience in the environmental industry, with a focus on in-situ groundwater and soils remediation. As a technical leader at ISOTEC, he oversees the design, implementation, and management of a wide range of remediation technologies, while also supporting the integration of emerging and innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.

Paul’s remediation expertise spans chlorinated solvents, petroleum hydrocarbons, 1,4-dioxane, and manufactured gas plant sites. He has hands-on experience with a variety of in-situ groundwater technologies, including chemical oxidation, bioremediation, zero-valent iron, Trap & Treat® injectable activated carbon, surfactant-enhanced remediation, soil vapor extraction, and thermal remediation. Additionally, Paul has experience with PFAS investigations, water/wastewater project design and build, and conducted research in arsenic and metals geochemistry.

Paul holds both a BS and MS in Environmental Engineering from Manhattan College in New York City and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Connecticut. He also serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.

MICHAEL TEMPLE
Director & Senior Project Manager

Mike has over 25 years of experience in the environmental remediation industry. He has transitioned through several critical roles, including Field Supervisor/Site Safety Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Director of Health and Safety. Mike is involved with overall project design, management, oversight, and the health and safety of field-based in-situ treatment programs.

Over the past 10 years, Mike has successfully managed remediation projects both domestically and internationally, including in Japan, Germany, Denmark, and Australia. In his current role, he also oversees the company’s health and safety program.

Mike has attended and presented at numerous industry-related conferences. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Rutgers University.

TIM EILBER
Director & Senior Operations Manager

Tim Eilber is the Director of Western Operations and a Senior Project Manager at ISOTEC in Denver, Colorado. With over 25 years of experience in the environmental consulting industry, Tim has developed deep expertise in the design, implementation, and management of in-situ remediation technologies. He has successfully led remediation projects at contaminated sites across the United States and internationally, including in Canada, Australia, and Japan.

SCOTT PITTENGER
Senior Remediation Scientist & Regional Manager

Scott is part of the senior leadership at ISOTEC, where he plays a key role in driving technical solution development, bench study design, large-scale project management, and staff mentorship. He joined the company in late 2020 and brings over 25 years of experience in the environmental remediation industry. His expertise covers a broad range of remediation technologies, including air sparging, soil vapor extraction, dual-phase extraction, pump & treat, in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO), in-situ chemical reduction (ISCR), bioremediation, phytoremediation, landfarming, and dig/haul.

Prior to ISOTEC, Scott spent 15 years as an environmental consultant at firms such as AECOM and Earth Tech, where he built and managed an in-house treatability studies laboratory and supported projects across the US, Canada, Mexico, Italy, Germany, and Israel. He later transitioned to the client side, serving as Environmental Remediation Manager at Norfolk Southern Railway for eight years, where he managed half of the company’s environmental remediation liabilities. He regularly negotiated with state regulators and developed environmental risk management strategies for internal teams, including supporting major real estate transactions, such as the $217 million acquisition of the D&H Line.

Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of South Florida and has spent a career proving biologists from far afield bring a unique set of skills to the remediation industry. When he is not ruminating on remediation, he can be found catching up on the latest doings of his two young adult sons or planning a new adventure with his wife.

GRANT GECKELER
Director of Remediation Services

Grant Geckeler serves as the Director of Remediation Services at ISOTEC. Grant is based in Southern California and is responsible for remedial technology assessments, project oversight, and program management. He has designed and managed dozens of in-situ remediation projects since 2009.

His technical focus is on the in-situ treatment of organic compounds, metals, and emerging contaminants. Prior to joining ISOTEC in 2020, Grant served as an officer and director at a firm specializing in thermal remediation.

KOLTER HARTMAN
Project Manager

Kolter is a Project Manager at ISOTEC, based in Denver, Colorado. He has over 20 years of experience implementing field injection activities. As Project Manager, he is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and reporting of in-situ remediation applications at contaminated sites across the United States. Kolter is known for managing some of ISOTEC’s most challenging projects, with an unparalleled attention to detail and site layout.

KEVIN O’NEAL
Field Operations Manager

Kevin O’Neal has over 20 years of experience in the environmental remediation industry with extensive experience supervising in-situ chemical oxidation, enhanced bioremediation, metals remediation, Trap and Treat®, permeable reactive barriers, soil mixing, and in-situ stabilization. He is also ISOTEC’s resident MS Excel wizard.

THOMAS MUSSER
Operations Manager

Tom brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as Operations Manager at ISOTEC. With over 18 years of dedicated service in environmental remediation, his expertise lies in managing large-scale, complex projects, enriching client relationships, and overseeing the injection of multiple technologies, including bedrock injections using permanent wells or packers and facilitating slurry reagent introduction into the subsurface.

Tom has also served as a Field Supervisor and Site Health and Safety Officer at ISOTEC. He also plays a vital role in mentoring junior staff and supporting their professional development within the company. His strong commitment to safety is reflected in his efforts to cultivate a robust culture of safety culture across the company. With his extensive experience, leadership, and dedication, Tom is an invaluable asset to ISOTEC and our clients, driving both the success and growth of the company in the environmental remediation field.

MARK RATNER
Senior Field Manager

Mark is a Senior Field Supervisor with over 14 years of experience in the industry. He specializes in site management, logistics, project preparation, and client relations, consistently demonstrating expertise in overseeing complex projects from start to finish. A key strength is his ability to mentor junior staff, helping them grow into supervisory roles and fostering a strong, collaborative team environment.

Outside of work, Mark is a dedicated family man, married with four children. In his free time, he coaches his two sons’ baseball teams and enjoys watching his older daughter play volleyball and his youngest daughter participate in cheerleading.
